You've heard about it, I'm sure. It goes by many names. The "Quickening", the "Awakening", the "Ascension", the "Age of Aquarius", the "New Age", "Earth Changes", the "End Times" are all names which are tossed about. But the real thing is, no one really knows for sure what the heck is going on.

There are prophecies, biblical writings, channelings, predictions, and ancient clues. All of these theories have their own groups of believers, but which is true? Or are they all true? What do you think is happening?

Personally, I think it is all summed up in the cartoon above. I think it's time that disguises are falling. We, as humans on this planet, have disguised everything. Our selves, our food, our surroundings, our spirituality. Just about everything we can get our 10 little fingers and some of our toes on. And what has been the result? Overpopulation, pollution, poverty, hunger, illness, war, a variety of religions which can't get along. Systems everywhere are breaking down. So why do we think we're so smart?

Oh sure, we have technological wonders, medical miracles, great thinkers and philosophers, but then, why are we in such a mess? Our planet and it's people are self destructing before our very eyes. Seems to me, we're sure not as smart as we think we are.

Yep, I think it's about time the disguises are falling. Maybe if we take a real good look at what's under them, we can remember how we're supposed to be. How we were created. That we are all the same. That what we do to another, we do to ourselves. Maybe then we could realize what we should be doing to make it better.

There's only one problem. Our biggest disguise is the one we don't even know we are wearing. Our e.g.o. (Everybody's Got One). We created it to "protect" us, and it has done nothing but harm to us, and our world. We give it our power, our trust, our faith. In return it lies to us, controls us and gets us into all kinds of trouble.

And even though we see the results of believing in it, we just keep on believing in it. Why is that? I wish I knew.

We really need to take a honest look at some of the things that seem to be happening. Things happening to us, and our planet. Also things that some people think and feel are happening, that aren't being talked about in the open.

There are some things about all this that I believe. I believe we will not know exactly what is going to happen, or when. I believe we are being given clues, and warnings to change. I believe if we stop listening and obeying the ego, we can work together to improve our future. I believe we don't have a lot of time left to do this. I believe we can work miracles together. We can do it by using the power within us, which has been given us "in the image" of our creator.

If we don't heed the warnings, and as always, we have that choice, then we deserve what we get.
